Hello, my name is Alyssa, and I’m a dessertaholic.

For as long as I can remember, I’ve had a sweet tooth. As a kid, a favorite snow day activity was baking sugar cookies with my mom and sisters, “painting” the cookies with food coloring. So I suppose I can blame my mom for making me a baker, since she encouraged it from the start!

I became more interested in baking from scratch in the past few years, especially after discovering Pinterest! I started out baking cupcakes, but I’ve gotten into cookies and other desserts as well.
